Imperial Investigator UUNP (Ruby) 4K

COMMENTARY

Today, we are investigating 😊
Well, Ruby is investigating in Cyrodill to be more precise. For this mission, Ruby is accompagnied by her favorite summoning creature: The Xivilai Sorcerer.
She recently learned this new spell. This intelligent Daedra is very powerful and she loves this conjuration spell.
She uses him mainly for combat, and also for some private activities.
She also uses necromancy a bit.....but shh!!!! Don't repeat it!

For this special mission, Ruby wears the Imperial Investigator outfit. It's now fully UUNP, so this elegant ensemble will suit perfectly to her superb body......and face. Oh yes, she is beautiful😍 and I'm a bit proud of her. Dark elves are not really popular, but I hope to motivate you to build this sort of character.

The release of the original outfit is veryyyyyyyyyy old. June 2012 by Calyps on Nexus. 7 years old.
Oldie or Classic....it's up to you but it's a part of the Skyrim modding story.
The interesting thing is that I like to test old creations on recent bodyslides. In this case, the original is from 2012 and the bodyslide is from 2019.

First,
I showcased this outfit with optional textures by Dreamburrow https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22607?tab=description
Original textures and Dreamburrow's textures are both 2K.
However, Dreamburrow's textures just look superior in game. More detailled, more vivid, more classy.
Original 2K textures size is 2.66Mb, Dreamburrow's 2K textures are 5.33Mb. A small difference but an impact in game.
Well, feel free to try both. You have choice. Classic plain colors or Dreamburrows' with shiny patterns.
Both versions provide a lot of textures. All of them are available in game at the same time.

About Meshes:
The original outfit is decent. However, long jackets provide always an imperfect result. That's a rule with long jackets. They are always a bit messy with a lot of poses or animations.
Nothing to do about that expect to add an HDT-PE effect, but this outfit does not include this effect.
So, the jacket is a bit "rigid".
Best parts are the trouser and the small cloack (called "Dustcloack"). I like this "detective" touch! Several colors available as well.

So, the outfit is old and meshes are simple but the bodyslide does the job. Simply. It doesn't improve the original. It simply unified correctly the original. That's the goal, isn't it?

On this point, I can't ask a better result according to the age of this outfit. The result is logical.

For now, the bodyslide doesn't have a mass of support on the Nexus despite the huge amount of endorsements of the original file (5500).

In all cases, the job is done and I personaly appreciate this type of outfit. It's feminine and lore friendly. Technicaly, the mod is less high poly compared than some recent creations, but It was simply enjoyable.

GLOBAL SCORE
