COMMENTARY
Well, first, I wasn't sure to showcase this armor.
Indeed, Skyrim and Zelda are so much different and I really thought that Zelda stuff in Skyrim could finally become really....ridiculous.
Skyrim is a mature and realist game. Zelda is just more... childish/ babyish.
Two excellent games but definitly 2 different spirits.
The mix is very risky in my opinion and the result may be a mistake.
That's what I thought first, but I'm not closed mind, and I'm always ready to try.
A wise decision because this armor has a real potential and the result in game is definitly not so bad.
Well, that's not the most immersive armor in the world but the result can be enjoyable.
In the bodyslide, you can choose 2 versions: With pants and without pants.
The version without pants is a bit dirty and torn apart/ tattered. This really helps to improve the armor. It's a nice added value and it's a bit sexy.
If you are more serious....you can bodyslide the pants version. Closer to the original game of course and with cleaner textures. Looks cool too.
I like them both. A slight preference for the no pants version for the dirty/ tattered sensation........and the short skirt😁
A matter of taste of course.
Well, you understand that this armor has potential and can be integrated into the game.
With this mod, The famous Mastersword and the shield are available.
About weapons, they are nicely done and react nicely with the ENB. However, these parts are way more childish and simple to be immersive.
I really prefer mature weapons ...highly detailled...with blood.....and spikes.😈
Again a matter of taste. You have mine but the most important is that they are available and may interest some players.
A hood/cape is also available. May looks good on screenshots, however, it moves very badly in game. So, visualy ok but not technicaly. The hood removes hairs.
About the "no pants" version, a texture is missing in the folder. This texture is for the panty.
So, If you don't fix it, you'll obtain the famous "violet texture".
Solutions:
1) Apply an existing texture
You can choose another texture which match to the panty. I selected the shirt_d.dds and the shirt_n.dds texture. It's ok to apply this texture on the panty and results are correct without too much work. Don't forget to save your mesh.
2) Remove the mesh
Another solution is simply to remove the panty (the mesh) in nifskope or in the bodyslide studio.
Panty - block - remove Branch - save as

In the comment section, The Anonymous has posted the best fix in my humble opinion.
Please, follow his/ her recommendation.
" I was able to fix the missing underwear issue in a slightly more complicated and time consuming way. I took three dds files from Ciri's outfit (after extracting the contents of the BSA file) and another dds file from Modder's Resource Pack - The Witcher. Then put them in the texture folder for the Link armor and no more purple textures!

From Ciri's outfit you need cirioutfit.dds, cirioutfit_m.dds and cirioutfit_n.dds

From the Modder's Resource Pack - The Witcher you only need the clothsilver_e.dds.
Done! and clean!
Thanks
Conclusion
A pretty nice mod and a interesting discovery. This article changed my mind about it and It was a wise decision to try it.
The bodyslide does the job and the sensation is nice in game. People who like retextures can also change the color by themselve in photoshop or in Gimp to obtain a new final touch for the outfit.
Give it a try!

Hi Anonymous :)
DeleteYes, I nifskope, I saw the name of the required texture "cirioutfit". So, I imagined that this texture should come from a Witcher Ciri's outfit.
I selected a easiest solution mainly to keep a simple article.......and because my english is not perfect for clear explanations :)
However, I'm interested by your comment.
Can I copy/paste it to put it in my article? Visitors will have finally a clear (better) explanation.
You'll be credited as......The Anonymous :) ....with capital.
Please do add my previous comment, having more options is always good. Plus if it makes the conversion as the author intended, then that makes it ideal imo.
DeleteI also saw in nifskope it was looking for a few ciri outfit dds files, as well as the clothsilver_e dds. So I started google searches and found the two mods I previously linked to, added the four dds files to the Link armor folder, checked in bodyslide and in game that there were no more purple textures!
Should I add the end of your last comment?

If yes, where to include it in your first comment?
sorry for the inconvenience
No, you don't have to - it was just for clarification of how/why I got the files I did, rather than just leaving it as "these are the files you need" as I did with my first comment, which even to me seems somewhat suspect! lol
DeleteOk thank you for everything.
DeleteIt's done. Thanks
