Interesting armor today!
This armor is not lore friendly, however, I wanted to highlight it for several reasons.
The first one is that I absolutly love Hans Ruedi Giger's Art. If you visit Switzerland, a Museum is decicated to Giger. I have already visited it. What a nice memory. The power of the Artist, that's just incredible. So, if you don't live near Switzerland and if you don't know who is he, then you must know that he is the creator of the creature Alien (the movie). Not bad isn't it? 😎 Well, he is also a designer, illustrator, sculptor and more. A true and complete artist. Please, admire his Art.
The second reason is the modder: Alienslof.
Recently , he has reuploaded all his mods on the Nexus. Lot of old mods, but lots are usable. Alienslof is also an old and skilled modder. He brought a lot to the community and for this reason he has all my respect. I knew him when I started to use mod for Oblivion.

The armor is to your taste or not, I just wanted to show it here.
We can note that the armor is normaly made for male, but the bodyslide and the new esp allow the use for female...and UUNP.
All works fine. Too bad the mask is not included in the new esp. The armor is very skimpy. I noticed that the armor reacts very nicely to reflection. Textures are very simple but the global shape of the armor is pretty cool. Even in a 2018 Skyrim, the armor have a decent result.
The UUNP page shows the mask and a tail. It wasn't here in my file.
To make it work, you just need the original file for textures only. Then, include them in the second file. Indeed, the bodyslide download doesn't have all required textures.
Well, an interesting armor and especially for those who don't know Giger or Alienslof. It just good to work basics of Art and Modding.

ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly the skimpy/sexual design is also part of his Giger's style, so I think it's very fitting for this outfit, compared to some others out there.

DeleteHis (alienslof) content is very skimpy/sexual....for males and females. He has also created famous outfits for Oblivion. I used some of them in the past.
So, this UUNP conversion makes sense according to Alienslof 's work.

How do you combine the 3 files into one?
ReplyDeleteThe uunp bodyslide is 3 seperate files (to download).
DeleteThis particular zipping method is used to "split" a download into several smaller files.
You would only have to unpack the first file and it will automatically unpack the other files (2 and 3) as long as it's in the same folder path as the first file.
You can use the program 7Z to do that.
