Before images, just a quick note for all my visitors.
Today, I'm very excited to present you the new ENB I use. I'm still "learning" this ENB, but first results are just very interesting. High quality shaders and effects, high quality DOF and lastest binaries of course.
In game, my first impressions are really good and the ENB matches to my actual setting.
The thing is that the ENB improves my characters. In this case: Domino.
And this point is important for the blog.
This ENB is in my opinion not really popular. Also, this could be a nice choice to continue and to improve the unique aspect of the blog.
Strangely, this ENB is performant.
So, I need to test it again and again and I can probably tweak it to a higher level, but I'm very confident for the future.
I believe that this ENB matches to the blog and to the spirit. As a faithful user of Rudy ENB, the change is not an easy task of course, but this new visual experience is simply very welcome in 2018.
Future will tell.
If I decide to keep this ENB, I'll communicate about it in a next article "updates, news, thoughts".

I like that this outfit has a pirate look combined with a tribal theme because of the feathers
ReplyDeleteYes, we can find a tribal theme. It wasn't my goal in this article. To do it more tribal ,I should have used another place and some accessories.
DeleteI prefered contrast between white feathers and Domino's black skin.
I like to do tribal Themes. I hope to find nice uunp conversions to create some.

DeleteLess adaptation and clearer shadows compared to Rudy ENB. Well, It's another enb, another visual.
Result may depends of the monitor too.
As I told, I'm still learning this ENB. However, I like the precision of this one, specially on textures.
It has a good potential to show details.
About Rudy, well why not! I have two complete tweaked rudy ENB for both binaries 315 and 319. Could be interested to upload them in a near future. I need to ask permission to Rudy and probably on ENBDEV too (Boris).
If it's not too complicated and long, I'll do it. Sure.

DeleteHowever, I will still use the Rudy ENB for specific interior space images or articles. For interior shots , Rudy is still one of the best in my opinion.
See, and I can't get the darned thing to look good. I used Rudy in this post--https://www.karstyl.com/2018/06/24/college-of-winterhold-general-announcement-faculty-students-and-staff/ and you can see how blown the whites are after I had to bring the light and contrast way up.

Last versions (315 and 319) of Rudy enb require a tweak in my opinion. Especially on the bloom, the adaptation and black level. The sky and the subsurface scattering too.
DeleteRudy works on his ENB with a very high quality monitor. So, if you don't have an excellent monitor (like me) you need to tweak.
About your images:
yes, whites are excessive. With rudy, it's important to use exactly the good lighting system according to the Rudy version.
If you use ELFX, the whites are......important.
Aha, the black level is probably what the issue is, maybe. My interiors with Rudy are just terrible, but outside of course is lovely and needs no tweaking. I can't recall what lighting mod I used with those pictures. I dislike all of them so probably none at that point. They are all much too dark for my taste.
ReplyDeleteELFX is highly recommended with Rudy ENB....especially for interior.

RLO works very nice too. I tried both ELFX and RLO.

I sure wish I could figure out how to properly download these files or how to unzip them when windows 10 wants to download them not as a zip file but as a 001 file and 002 file etc...

DeleteYou need to download each files seperatly (original and uunp files).
Once you have all files, you can extract them and have all the content (bodyslide + meshes + textures + esp). It's a free access.
Looking all over for this mod, knew I could find it here, good bodyslide too, ty!

Several bodyslides exist, but this version is clean and one of my favorite.
