SEXY MANNEQUINS
ALL BODY TYPES, SIZES, and TEXTURES
One of the things that I struggled with early on in playing Skyrim was finding the suitable armor/clothes for my followers. At any one time in my game I could have 20 new followers and 30 new armor/clothes in my load order. I found trying out all seven versions of Nisetanaka’s Dwarven armor on a follower to be time consuming. It was also frustrating because I could not see each version of the armor at the same time thus I could not compare them one to each other.
Fortunately, I stumbled onto a follower mod – Sexy Warrior Companion Ria Sexy Ria This mod had an optional .esp file that changes all of the wooden mannequins in the game into Ria. It was so much easier to see how armors/clothes looked on a cute young woman rather than on a hunk of wood. Also, some of my player home mods had scores of mannequins in the armor room. I could put all seven different versions of Dwarven armor on seven mannequins which were all in a row. Now I could easily compare all the different chest armors by walking up and down the row of mannequins. I could then place all of my choices for best of each armor type (boots, gauntlets, tassets, etc.) onto an 8th mannequin to see how my choices looked all together before transferring the armor pieces to my follower.
Ria comes with three different bodies: CBBE, UNP, and UNPB. This is good because it gives you the two major body textures: CBBE and UNP. With these base textures you can then remove and replace or just overwrite the six files listed below from the Ria mod’s meshes folder and replace them with the body of your choice:
femalebody_0.nif
femalebody_1.nif
femalefeet_0.nif
femalefeet_1.nif
femalehands_0.nif
femalehands_1.nif
For example, do you want your mannequins to be CBBE Curvy? If so, all you have to do is download and install both the Companion_Ria_CBBE main file and the Ria mannequins optional file. Now copy the above six files from your CBBE Curvy follower’s meshes folder and delete/paste or just overwrite these six meshes in Ria’s meshes folder. Your mannequins are now all CBBE Curvy exactly the same as your follower and with the proper CBBE body textures. If you want your mannequins to be 7Base Oppai, then you need to download and install the UNP or UNPB main file and the mannequin optional file and follow the same steps as shown above for CBBE Curvy; i.e. copy the six mesh files from your 7BO follower to Ria’s meshes folder.
If you ever get tired of Ria’s face you do have an alternative that does not require advanced technical skills. The solution is the Mannequins Look Like Followers – (MLLF) mod Mannequins Look Like Followers This mod makes the mannequins look like any one of ten of the more popular followers such as Sofia, Chaconne, Toccata, Seranaholic, etc. The mod accomplishes this by having you download the original follower mod and then placing the MLLF mod for that particular follower below the follower mod in your load order. Again, you can swap out the six body mesh files in the original follower mod to make the mannequin body the same as your follower’s body. Be aware that these are older follower mods and their body textures may not fit exactly over the more extreme of today’s body shapes. This means that if you are using Super Skinny or CBBE HH+ there may be clipping and/or seams.
Another consideration with the Ria and MLLF mods is that you not only get the mannequins but you also have the follower in your game. Follower Ria just sits patiently in the Riverwood Inn and never bothers you if you enter the inn. Sofia, however, is not quite as well behaved. Of course, this is Sofia – why would you expect her to behave?
Both the Ria mod and the MLLF mod can be converted to work in SSE. See my article Moving Skyrim Scandal Armors to SSE for details on doing the conversion(s).
Other Body Textures
Perhaps you don’t care for the standard CBBE or UNP body textures. You want your mannequins to have a different body texture such as Leyenda, Demonica, SRG, Real Girls, Mature Skin, etc. Changing the mannequins body textures is simple. Download your favorite body texture mod and place it in your load order directly below the Ria or MLLF mod. This will overwrite the body textures of your mannequin mod. This body texture mod will also overwrite the body textures contained in any mod loaded above it, not just the textures in the mannequin mod. So, you may wish to place the Ria or MLLF mod and the body texture mod high in your load order to prevent the body textures of other mods from being overwritten.
On the other hand, you may wish to have all of the female characters in your game share the same body texture. If so, you should place your favored body texture mod at the bottom of your load order. There it will overwrite the body textures of all female vanilla NPCs and all other females provided by mods. The only exception to this would be for females from mods where the mod author has created his own unique body textures and has also given these body textures unique names. If a texture has a unique name it cannot be overwritten by a texture in another mod.
You can also have all female characters in your game share the same body shape. If you want all female NPCs and female followers in your game to be CHSBHC (Cherry Hotling Super Busty H Cup) just download the mod for that body type and place it at the bottom of your load order. Be sure to open the CHSBHC mod folder and delete the textures folder so that that the textures do not overwrite your preferred set of body textures. Now all females in your game, except for mods that have uniquely named body meshes, will have the body shape of your choice.
Vanilla Armors and Clothes for Other Body Types
There are a quite a few Skyrim mods that replace some or all of the vanilla armors and clothes. The armors/clothes in these mods may be redesigned (skimpier), they may have different textures (colors), or they may fit different body types (CBBE, UNP, etc.) or any combination of these three. If you have your preferred body mesh at the bottom of your load order these meshes will overwrite the body meshes of any of these vanilla armor/clothes replacers. This means you do not have to worry about finding the vanilla armor/clothes replacer mod that matches your preferred body type. You only have to find mods that meet your design and color preferences.
One mod you might want to look at is TMB Vanilla Armors and Clothes TMB Vanilla Armors & Clothes These armors and clothes are designed for the TMB body (TiddyMcButt). However, the TMB body meshes will be overwritten by your preferred meshes at the bottom of your load order, Thus, the TMB body is irrelevant. What is relevant is that this mod includes not only Robton’s armor/clothing designs for 100% of the vanilla armors and clothes, but also designs by TIWA and GomaPero for many, but not all of the vanilla armors/clothes. In the FOMOD installer you will see side-by-side pictures of each vanilla armor/clothing as envisioned by each of the three designers and you get to select the version that you prefer. There is also a patch so this mod can be used with SSE. TMB Vanilla Armors & Clothes Patch Look under Miscellaneous Files, TMB SSE Patches
While you are on the Robton/TMB website you might want to look over the entire site. There are plenty of other armor/clothing/accessory mods you might like and want to download. There are also some follower mods as well. I have tried all of the followers and would rank them all as above average both for in-game looks and AI. If you like your followers busty and are from the old, pre-silicone school of female anatomy, you should also take a look at the TMBE (TMB Enhanced) and the rubenesque BAMFTNA (BadAssMotherF#ckngTitsaNdAss) bodies. The BAMFTNA body comes with UUNP Bodyslide files. The TMBE body is not Bodyslide compatible. However, the original TMB body is still downloadable and comes with UUNP Bodyslide files.
Have Fun.
