The Elder Scrolls VI – Official E3 Announcement Teaser

The Elder Scrolls VI

- Official E3 Announcement Teaser -

Hi,

Finally the first trailer of The elder Scrolls VI.
It's very short :) And it's difficult to know what is this place.
High Rock?
Hammerfell?
Maybe the Black Marsh??...I doubt.

I don't know.
This could be High Rock according to the Tamrielic Lore. It's the closest but I'm not sure.
Hammerfell could be this place too. Homeland of the Redguards.

I don't think this could be The Black Marsh. I don't see swamps. Too much mountains too.
Not Elsweyr, The climate is not dry and arid.

It's a pre-production. So, This video shows the first step of the game.

First impressions :
It's foggy and the vegetation doesn't seem very important. Rocks are imposing and very mineral.
Mountains are not snowy.
Forest are not verdant.
The weather is calm, the sky is blue and birds are flying :)
The building at the center should give us a clue about this place.....
We can see some trees too (at the beginning of the video). They look like trees of Oblivion (Cyrodiil).
So, the place could really be Hammerfell near places like Faneth or Rihad. I feel this place close to the Cyrodiil frontiers.

However!!!!! Something is very strange. The music!!!
The music reminds me Oblivion of course. So, This could be Cyrodiil too. Yes , why not! A modern Oblivion! And the place is huge and varied.
And you? What do you think?
What is the place presented in the video?
Your opinion is welcome.

This video just shows us that Bethesda is actually working on the game. That's the best new I suppose.

Skyrim was announced the 13 december 2010. The release was the 11 november 2011. Almost one year between the two date.
So, we can hope a release in one small year...nearby July 2019 for The Elder Scrolls VI.

During this long time, but I know you all have a lot of patience 😉, you can of course come on Skyrim Scandal to enjoy a nice time.
You are welcome.

  1. I think we will have to wait at least 5 years for this...

In my opinion, they have to show this, 6 months ago they made the "save the single players" campaign, then they show a online fallout game, if they do not show the other games, people would burn that place...

This teaser is more to calm people, something to show that single players still is the goal.

    1. I agree. This is to calm people. But in a sense, peoples are very exited with this teaser. I believe the Bethesda staff is huge, so they can actualy work on several projects.
Still stingle player? Yeah, I think so. This sort of game is not dead. Skyrim is the proof.

A teaser 5 years before is a bit long I suppose. How do you deduce this lenght?

I 'm just afraid that Bethesda doesn't allow free modifications... This is my fear and probably the fear of Nexus too.

      Thanks for your Feedback Ralfetas.

    2. Single player is far from dead... just EA keep saying this because they want more money, but when we look to the gaming industry in general, single player is much bigger them MP.

I think is 5 years at least yes... Long text ahead :).

Last year or before, Todd said BS was working on 2 major tittles before ES, we met them both in E3, starfield and FO76, and they could not make a new ES game because they do not have the technology to make it.
FO76 took 4 years to be made, they reuse a lot of FO4 assets, update on creation engine, big worlds with nice LOD's now.
Starfield is on making for sometime now, probably will have the new animation engine they said was in the works, space... zero G... G's... they will need a new animation engine.
ES will need all this updates to be made, just look at skyrim.

Between starfield and ES will take 2 or 3 years at least, creating a ES world is much more complicated then creating a FO world, the lore is huge, bigger then any game you could think. And next year BS will still have FO76 fresh, they would not risk releasing starfield.

For the location of ES, i think it would not be only one region, will be more, i think highrock and hammerfell could be nice locations, in special because the lore of hammerfell, can open space for some nice political problems.

    3. If they try to ban free outside mods, some inventive modder will just create a mod to go around their block. I'm currently using a mod that blocks the creation club.

I don't mind throwing a few bucks to a modder who creates good work and helps other people mod their game. I do mind paying Bethsada for stealing the work of other mod creators.

    4. Hi Jeff,
      Thanks for your opinion.
I'm afraid they will try to ban free outside mods. I believe that's the objective of Bethesda. They don't communicate about it, but all their annoucements lead in that direction.
In one word, I believe they want to transform all Nexus 15 000 000 members into Bethesda 15 000 000 pure consumers.
Just my feelings about future. We'll see.

I think they only showed the short clip of TES6 to go out on a high note because they didn't get the reactions they were hoping for from Fallout 76.

    1. Yeah. You are probably right too. Fallout license will never have the "hype" of Elder scrolls. The thing is they are not very clear with this Fallout 76, so , reactions are a little bit weak I suppose.
      Thanks for this opinion.
