Commentary
This armor is the brother (or sister ) of the Truly light glass armor.
I have already made an article about the Glass version here https://skyrimscandal.blogspot.com/2017/08/truly-light-glass-armor-uunp-lorelei-4k.html?zx=1cbaa16f9352847c
Indeed, the Elven and Glass version come from the same modder Letstryagain.
For both, i used the perfect UUNP bodyslide made by Diablio. You know Diablio's work is always clean and his conversions have "GROUPS" in bodyslide....important!! You find them more easily to batch build quickly
For this Elven version, as usual, i strongly recommend you the great retexture by Cabal120 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23125/?
You can also use the Mystic Elven Textures from Sader325 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5600/?
Totally different but really good too and it's HD.
For this article i used the Cabal version...the golden one. The modder recommends to use the dark retextures because it suits perfectly for assassins and are fully within the aim of this mod.
Well, make your own choice....all retextures are perfect...depends of your own lore and gameplay.
You can choose this armor as a replacer of the vanilla, or as a standalone...to have 2 different elven armors. You choice....
This elven remesh is, in my humble opinion, one of the best for your game : It's lore friendly, feminine, adds protection. Well, the shape is simply better than the "fat" vanilla version.
Of course, if you like skimpy replacer, this armor is not for you and you should use another mod.
Well, that's simply good. The essential. And for all type of players. As good as the glass version.
A good original idea + a perfect bodyslide + Cabal retex = perfection 😉

Second to last screenshot, wow! Very nice showcase Marmotte.
ReplyDeleteThank you Phazer. I'm glad you appreciate the presentation.
DeleteIt's important i believe, and it's my way of working.
I just try to show details and how the armor reacts according to the game (day, interiors, magic, lights).
I always try to use various locations too.
I mainly use realist ENBS, so images are not full of effects. Players know exactly what they've got.
Thank you for your message
